My name is Margaret Burbano, and I am a bilingual counselor who works closely with the Latinx community. I was born and raised in Queens, New York, and come from a family with Dominican and Ecuadorian roots. Growing up in a multicultural environment shaped my understanding of identity, resilience, and the importance of culturally sensitive mental health care.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Francis College in Brooklyn in 2020 and moved to Georgia in 2022 to pursue new opportunities for growth. In May 2026, I graduated from Clark Atlanta University with a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling. I currently work as a mental health counselor, offering individual and couples therapy in both English and Spanish.

In addition to my clinical work, I assist community members with immigration procedures and provide administrative support, which allows me to advocate for my clients’ interests both inside and outside the therapy room. I provide all my services in English and Spanish, striving to make my work accessible and inclusive.

My passion for serving the Latino community is what led me to pursue a career in the field of therapy. I am committed to accompanying people on their journey of healing, growth, and regaining their strength, in a space that respects their culture and life experiences.
